Custom Business Sign Options from ShieldCo
When you work with ShieldCo for your custom metal sign, the opportunities are endless. We can use different materials: steel, brass, copper, corten, or our company wide favorite, aluminum. You can choose from hundreds of colors, or we can pick the colors that match your logo. We can create flat business signs, or our favorite ones, 3D metal business signs with multiple layers.
Through the thousands of signs that we’ve created, we have identified five main categories that most signs fall under. Browse through the following options to help you determine the best fit for your business needs:

Option 1 – Single layer business sign
This option cuts out all lettering to expose the wall behind the business sign. It’s a simple design but still impactful. We can use our
typical french cleat on the back of the metal sign for easy installation or we can use stainless steel standoffs if required. If we add framework to the back of the sign, we can add custom lighting.
Option 2 – Single layer sign with back panel
Similar to option #1, this version adds a panel behind your business sign to provide added contrast. It adds depth and visual interest to the custom metal signs, and is the first true step into the “3D” realm. The front layers cast shadows on the back panel bringing the metal sign to life. As with all our business signs, you can add custom lighting for even greater impact.
Option 3 – Multi layer

Option 4 – Individual lettering

BROOKLYN NETS – BROOKLYN, NEW YORK
Custom metal business signage for the Brooklyn Nets
When the Brooklyn Nets contacted us late on a Friday in February of 2016, they said that they loved our metal signs and that they needed two new signs for their practice facility in Brooklyn, NY in a little less than two weeks. We worked with the manager at the Nets, creating mockups for their review over the weekend, and sealed the deal the following Monday. We delivered on time and hung the commercial signage for their opening ceremony.
PEPSICO – DENVER, COLORADO

Pepsi was renovating their office space in Denver, Colorado and wanted new custom metal signage that would update the space to make it look modern and fresh. On the first call with the facilities manager we presented 3D models of our vision of the signs which were perfectly inline with what the company was looking for. We worked diligently with our supplier of powder coats to find the perfect color match for the Pepsi brand and then we started production. We laser cut, powder coated, assembled and shipped the custom metal signage for Pepsi to their office. Within two hours of receiving the package the new business signs was flawlessly installed on their wall.

The client had a great looking logo that they wanted to update to something more impressive. After working directly with the client on developing the logo, the client had the suggestion of putting ball peen hammered copper as the back panel for the custom metal signage. This was the perfect suggestion! The hammered copper is unique and regal and will be a focal point of the office for years to come. This metal sign is the truly perfect entry way sign for an office or commercial building.

Custom Design
Each “Shield” 3D Custom Metal Signage piece starts with a custom design. Just send us your logo or design and your desired size and we will create a 3D rendering of your project for your approval. If you don’t have a logo or design yet, that’s ok, we can help you design one.
