LED Sign Lighting
We offer the option to have your sign custom fit with LED Lighting that gives your sign a striking illumination, transforming any space!
At ShieldCo Signs, we choose LEDs for their longevity, customization, efficiency, and safety. Operating at 12 volts, they produce minimal heat and are rated for 40,000 hours, lasting over 10 years with normal use. Each sign includes a remote to adjust colors, brightness, and animation. LED signs are also energy-efficient, using the same power as a 60-watt bulb while outperforming traditional lighting options.
Custom Sign Lighting Options
When attaching lighting to a sign, we consider factors such as layering, size of the sign, fastening points and layer pass-throughs, the placement of lights for best highlights, and what colors will fit the work best. Placing lights onto a sign involves connecting circuits and soldering wires, using connectors to maintain constant current throughout the power load.
Interior Signs
Though the process can be lengthy, the result is always a sight to behold, turning heads and standing out. Signs we apply LEDs to are typically for interior use only.
Outdoor Signs
ShieldCo illuminated signs are still straightforward to install! Our indoor signs never require specialized or tricky installation, normally installed with essential household tools. ShieldCo LED lit signs plug into your wall outlet and are ready to go upon arrival.
Pro-Tip: Go the extra mile and install an outlet behind the sign to avoid seeing the power cord.
Spotlighting Signs
We do spotlighting projects as well. Spotlighting is when a light system is not directly attached to a sign but is directed from a distance. This is a great method of providing illumination for interior and exterior locations.
